☆Ablum Review: This is a good example of versatility in this band, but it's not perfect. It's nice that they're showcasing their music in a different fashion (acoustic), but I can't help but think it lacks impact and the raw power of their electric showcase. It doesn't even seem that emotional in the recording, leading me to believe that it's almost a little pared down. Certainly not a bad collection, in fact, I applaud the decision to release an acoustic collection, which I don't believe has been done since 2006 (Live at Fingerprints), which is a rare out of print CD. Separate Vactions is a very nice choice to include, as is Both Crosses, and it's a very nice stripped back bit to listen to. Four stars to it, because it's good and solid, but lacks the raw impact this band is famous for in their live shows (a problem that partially plagues all their releases, to a degree).
